Our approuch
Iconic projects
Mothership is a house hold name in the (art) world that stands for inspiration and wonder with gutso. We want everyone to experience the value of art. That is why we work in the Netherlands and abroad on iconic projects that enrich the public space and creates special experiences for everyone

Social impact
As a concept developer with an own unique signature, Mothership provides added value – through the way in which art is combined and processed in the environment. That is also the heart of the mission of Jeroen Everaert, founder of Mothership: to make art a natural part of the public space, to let art arise from and make it an integral part of the DNA of that environment. This way everyone can be touched and mesmerised. We are therefore proud of the social impact that our projects have.
Story tellers
Our expertise is telling the story of a building, a square, a wall, in a way that appeals and requires an attentive new look. Every place has a different environment and meaning for its users. These ingredients are the basis for our story. With art and culture as a starting point, we create new stories for our clients; in that sense we are contemporary storytellers.
Valuable creative processes
Mothership consists of a team of ambitious creative professionals all from different angles and are all multi-facetted. We give the client a variety of possibilities to approach the project. We do not think along traditional lines, we like to think outside the box. As a concept developer, we are at the cradle of valuable creative processes.
We work together with (landscape) architects, (interior) designers and artists in order to give our customers more than what they ask for. All our work is made to measure, is never predictable and is visibly designed with fun.

Others about us
“Mothership dares to think big and delivers added value by transcending the boundaries and frameworks of projects. By asking the bigger questions and applying their approach, they provide projects with a strong conceptual foundation. What characterises their method is the focus and energy they place on future impact and communication, which are integrated into the project from the very beginning. They are experienced in the fields of art, culture, and leisure, and as connectors, entrepreneurs, and creators, they are ready to move remarkable initiatives forward.”
Frans van Dooremalen
Director, BrabantC Fund
“Mothership translated the concept of Brabant Remembers into an artistic and thought-provoking experience for a broad audience. Both the content and the form came together beautifully in the Dilemma Maze in Bergen op Zoom. Jeroen is highly inspiring, and thanks to Marieke, the project was successfully delivered within time and budget!”
Femke Klein
Programme Director, Brabant Remembers

On the impact of the Markthal:
“Two years before the opening of the Markthal, I started my restaurant in the Oude Haven. Immediately after the Markthal opened, I noticed a positive change in our area. As an entrepreneur, you instantly respond to the new stream of tourists that has come our way since the Markthal opened five years ago. At least 40% of my customers are international, and they are all visitors of the Markthal. They now know how to find our restaurant, as well as the other restaurants in the Oude Haven.”
Roy Wynia, owner of restaurant Apartt, Oude Haven, Rotterdam, 220 metres from the Markthal
