Coolsingel underwent a metamorphosis last year. In order to highlight this metamorphosis in the dark days, it was decided to use laser beams to emphasise the long lines of the Coolsingel, which are particularly prominent in the new design.
From the two ends of the Coolsingel, laser beams shine horizontally through the tunnels of trees and meet each other halfway. The laser beams move slowly and constantly change colour, creating a beautiful play of lines.
When you move towards the laser, you mainly see the long beams, which seem to go up into the sky. The other way round, you mainly see the dancing points of light of the places where the laser beams hit the trees.
