The Power Flower is a light show above the Weerwater in Almere. Twenty lamps, mounted on a high-voltage pylon, make a flower bloom every evening for the duration of the Floriade, between sunset and midnight, in the middle of the Weerwater. The flower will regularly change character and shape. The new flowers will be designed together with the residents of Almere.
During 180 days in the dark, a fairy-like atmosphere will arise on and around the water.
