After seeing the ‘Horn of Plenty’ by Arno Coenen & Iris Roskam in the Markthal, the school De Ring van Putten from Spijkenisse was sold. The management had been looking for a nice art work for the wall in the entrance hall and were now sure that it should be a design by Arno & Iris.
Meanwhile Arno & Iris have made their final draft and are almost ready for the realization. The designs are inspired by the road you travel from first form until graduating. In addition to that, Arno & Iris were influenced by the German artist Caspar David Friedrich.
As part of the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of De Ring van Putten, the artwork will be completed in August this year.
