As the new Markthal in Rotterdam is taking shape, the time for finishing touches is getting ever closer. Presently fitters are at work assembling a ‘jigsaw puzzle’ of almost 4500 panels that together will form the 11,000 m2 artwork ‘Horn of Plenty’. The images appear to be photographed, but are actually constructed by Arno Coenen and his team with computers.
Commissioned by Provast, Arno Coenen and his team designed ‘Horn of Plenty’, in cooperation with MVRDV and Corio. Mothership acted as advisor and producer for the work.
