Threesome I wrote the winning project plan for beautifying the ‘Muizengaatje’ (mouse hole) underpass, connecting the Noord and Hillegersberg-Schiebroek Districts in Rotterdam. Kim Visser, Gino Catshoek and Marjon van der Velden presented the proposal honouring the legendary footballer Coen Moelijn, from the Noord, and Hillegonda, the legendary patron saint of Hillegersberg. Poetically and with fitting colours, you can now experience that rich feeling that comes with entering the two communities.
Commissioned by the District Councils of Noord and Hillegersberg-Schiebroek, the Threesome I team earned the commendation ‘Supurb’ for their concept for improving the underpass. Mothership acted as producer.
