Studio ID Eddy was founded in 2000 by contemporary artist Eddy Kaijser (1975). Studio ID Eddy focuses on public space. The studio initiates projects and bottom-up interventions in order to change public space and arouse an awareness among citizens about their public space. These projects inevitably fire up the discussion of what the function of public space is, how we use it now and how we want to use it in the future. The art-design projects can be interactive installations, urban design, video and photography. Both temporary and permanent projects and products are realized. Studio ID Eddy co-operates on these projects with different design studios, universities on design and sustainability, architects, manufacturers and (local) governments.
