Combi - Haas & Hahn
In Rio de Janeiro there are a lot of Combi vans. These old timers, mostly adorned with stickers, (religious) texts and images, are a binding element in the Brazilian culture.
In the summer of 2009 a similar van will be driving around in Rotterdam, but as a multimedia center. Whoever sees the Combi can enjoy footage of the real life in Brazil, in particular the slums of Rio de Janeiro.
Combi is a project by artists Haas&Hahn, who for the past years worked on the Favela Painting project in Rio de Janeiro.
