For the Polderplein in the borough Feijenoord (Rotterdam, NL) Arno Coenen designed a work of art, consisting of a combination of glass mosaic and prints on ceramic tiles.
Along the Polderplein one can find the Fatih mosque, a primary school and a branch of Duimdrop. Also the secondary school OSG Nieuw-Zuid is located at  walking distance of the square.

Inspired by the surroundings of the square Arno designed the artwork that carries a clearly positive message. This is illustrated by the title: “Een pot met goud op Zuid” (“a pot of gold in the South”, which refers to the south of Rotterdam), referring to one of the illuminated signs on the nearby Beijerlandselaan.
The work of art is a combination of special prints on ceramic tiles, which have a photo realistic quality, and mosaic tiles. The  mosaic has been made by the local residents and students of OSG Nieuw-Zuid.
The result is an exiting work of art, filled with symbolism and honour. The work of art is 1,5 meters tall and 22 meters wide.
