TMF Awards
The television broadcaster TMF (The Music Factory) wanted to have an award to present that was comparable to the Golden Calf at the Netherlands Film Festival or the Oscar at the Academy Awards in Hollywood.
Luuk Bode designed the mythical figure and musical tempter Pan for TMF.
In his contemporary design Pan symbolises sex, drugs and rock’n’roll., just as the golden calf was worshiped as an idol in the biblical story and the Oscar with its holy sword signifies the divine power of film
