Wreath of light around Zadkine
On 14 May 2009 it was 69 years ago that the city of Rotterdam (NL) was bombed. On this day many commemorations and ceremonies took place. As a conclusion of the day a wreath of light was placed around "De Verwoeste Stad" by Ossip Zadkine (a statue which commemorates the bombardment of Rotterdam). Previous to this ceremony poet Jana Beranová recited a poem.
