Feyenoord plaque - Cirque de Pepin

Commissioned by the borough Feijenoord (municipality of Rotterdam, NL), Pepijn van den Nieuwendijk (a.k.a. Cirque de Pepin) manufactured a plaque to commemorate the founding of the soccer club Feyenoord.

In the year of the 100th anniversary of the soccer club Feyenoord the borough in which the clubs roots lay have decided to decorate the location of café "De Vereeniging". The café was the location where the soccer club a 100 years ago (in 1908) was founded.
The plaque is made of ceramics and hand painted by Pepijn.

Closing of the anniversary year, on December 30th, a cardboard replica was unveiled by former player and senior manager Fred Blankemeijer. The original was not ready to be put up. On April 14th the plaque was put up.

We would like to thank Stichting NRC (Roelof Kok) for recommending us! www.stichtingnrc.nl

Location of the plaque: Damstraat 2, Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
