Taneda graduated from Musashino Art University in Tokyo, Japan. He began his career in the film industry during his studies, as an assistant to artist Sawako Goda, for the movie ‘Shanghaiijin Shokan “(China Doll) directed by Shuji Terayama. Since then Taneda has worked for many highly acclaimed Japanese directors, including Shinji Somai and Yoichi Sai. The first feature of public theaters for which Taneda worked as production designer was “Futari Botchi’, directed by Koshi Enokido. In the U.S he became even more known for his work as Art Producer for the movie “Kill Bill Vol.1”.
