2012 Architecten

Rotterdam is working on an attractive inner city. The new Central Administrative Office is a symbol for this and in 2015 it will facilitate a passage between the Coolsingel and Laurenskwartier. In 2012 starts a part of the new construction and until then the facade asked for a temporary artwork. A contest was held for which Mothership suggested four artists: Bliss, Marcel Kronenburg, Geert Mul and 2012 Architecten. The local residents and entrepreneurs chose 2012 Architecten for their design of a green artwork of flowers and plants. On April 21st, the artwork was unveiled by aldermen Hamit Karakus and Alexandra van Huffelen. This production was done by TAK Artistic Promotions. Curator: Mothership
