Green Facade Design is one of the latest developments in the field of spatial design in the Netherlands and combines a surprising design with natural greenery. On behalf of Bureau Binnenstad and Mothership the first mossfacade was placed in December 2010 by Hunk Design Studio ID & Eddy (Eddy Cardinaal and Bart Kaijser) on the facade of the building DS25 in which Mothership is housed . Before the mossfacade the designers came up with the concept for the Flying Grass Carpet, a Persian carpet as big as a park. This carpet flew all around the world.
