You Mean So Much To Me

On behalf of the city of Middleburg, Stichting Beeldende Kunst Middelburg (Visual Art Foundation Middelburg) is carrying out the project Kunst in de wijken (Art in the quarters), for which 6 artworks are being realized in dialogue with the inhabitants.Three works have now been realized. Later this year, the artworks for the quarters Mortiere (Maze de Boer), Klarenbeek (Birthe Leemeijer) and Sint Laurens (Lara Almarcegui) will follow.You Mean So Much To Me is situated at the waterfront of the Vogelpark, in the continuation of a side path of the skate park and is asking to be used; to sit, walk, stand or other meetings. In the darkness, the artwork becomes the centre of its surroundings due to the lack of light in the immediate surroundings.
