Billy Apple
During a solo exhibition of Billy Apple© (New Zealand) in Witte de With, center for contemporary art, also two works by him were on display in Rotterdam's public space. This was done by commission of Sculpture International Rotterdam. The work on the facade of the Weenapoint B building (corner Kruisplein/Weena) is a large vinyl sticker fitting exactly the grid of the façade panels. On the building of MEE Rotterdam, in the Schilderstraat, a large printed canvas temporarily took the place of the regular artwork. Both works refer to works that he has made before.
